Score Community Opportunities
Based in the centre of Hereford, Score Community Opportunities provides a broad range of community-based activities for people with learning disabilities. In normal times, around 27 people with learning disabilities take part in one or more of these activities each week.
We aim to promote the health and wellbeing of the people we support. We encourage activity and foster creativity.
Most activities take place in public facilities so that our service and the people we support are part of the local community.
Our usual programme of activities includes football, swimming, bowling, skittles, pool, golf, archery, badminton, walking and gardening. We also run art and drama groups, such as the Living Book Theatre Company.
Sadly, Score Community Opportunities is pausing this face-to-face support during the new lockdown. However, while it lasts, staff will be running daily Zoom sessions, including a game show, quizzes and the ever-popular online bingo, for the people we support.

The people we support also help to deliver the local newspaper Hereford Admag.
All the activities we provide are chosen, in part, by the people we support.
