Local Authorities and Primary Care Trusts increasingly recognise that we have considerable experience of supporting adults with learning disabilities including those with high support needs and sometimes challenging behaviours.

Over the last few years we have successfully managed the transfer of support of over 120 people with learning disabilities from the NHS to us in many locations including Luton and Bedfordshire, Kent and Leicestershire. We have enabled individuals to develop their lives from a residential model of support to supported living and with it reduced the support required. This has meant not only an improved quality of life and greater freedoms and choice for the individuals we support but also reduced support costs.

We offer a broad range of support services across the country, and by listening to and meeting the changing needs of the people we support, our partners and stakeholders, we have kept pushing the boundaries of what we make possible for the people we support in their communities. We have adopted the use of assistive technology, which has both enhanced dignity and quality of life for individuals and reduced the need for high intense staff support.
